Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the Merchint Shopify app (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you (“the Merchant”) and Merchint (“we”, “us”). Contact: james@merchint.ai.

2. The Service

Merchint aggregates data from your Shopify store, Google Ads account, and Meta Ads account to produce a blended performance dashboard including revenue, ad spend, COGS, contribution margin, and customer acquisition metrics. The Service is provided as a Shopify embedded app billed through Shopify’s billing system.

3. Subscription and billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Shopify’s billing API on a 30-day recurring cycle.
• A 14-day free trial is included on all paid plans. No charge is made until the trial expires.
• Plan pricing: Analyst $49/mo · Media Buyer $99/mo · Manager $199/mo · COO $499/mo (USD).
• You may cancel at any time through your Shopify admin. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to active merchants.

4. Your data

You retain full ownership of your store data. We access it solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data or use it to train models shared across merchants. For full details see our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Shopify’s Partner Program policies.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
• Share access credentials with unauthorised third parties.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.

6. Accuracy of data

The Service surfaces data derived from Shopify, Google Ads, and Meta Ads APIs. We present this data accurately but cannot guarantee that platform-reported figures (particularly Meta and Google conversion data) match your actual business outcomes. Shopify revenue is used as the primary source of truth for sales figures. You are responsible for verifying material financial decisions independently.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Merchint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in that period.

8. Termination

You may terminate by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if required by law. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy unless you request earlier deletion.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to the store owner at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
