Merchint (“we”, “us”) is a Shopify app that aggregates advertising and sales data to help merchants understand their marketing performance. Contact: james@merchint.ai.
We collect data on behalf of the merchant (the data controller) when they connect their platforms:
We do not collect or store personal data about Meta platform users. When Meta requires a data deletion callback, we verify the request and confirm — there is no individual user record to delete.
All data is used solely to provide the merchant with their own performance dashboard. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in section 4.
Aggregated daily metrics are retained for the life of the merchant’s account. Platform OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and refreshed as needed. Merchants can request full data deletion by contacting james@merchint.ai.
Merchants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time by emailing james@merchint.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies. OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted fields and never exposed client-side.
We will update this policy as our data practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated to active merchants by email.
